Misty tranquillity

Walking through a silent forest,
in a magical misty day,
away from ego and greed,
I fathom the deep bifurcations of life,
as sage words gently echo inside:

no heat and dust behind my closed doors
my empty house is filled with space and silence

Choosing this austere simplicity,
pondering on the harmony of Nature,
and nurturing all living things.
Nothing surpasses the tranquillity
of having understood this.

This is my true self,
this is where my home is.
